She stops for a moment before sighing and shifts to rest her forehead on her arms.] That's what I used to think. [Her volume begins to rise, her voice emotional, desperate. Her hands grip her arms tightly.] Even if they treated us even worse than that, whatever they called us, maybe I could start to understand if even Orerines called them evil...!
