TWO.

[Written/Accidental Voice]

[Fenimore is still not very adept with the journal system, so she spent about ten minutes trying to turn on the voice feature before eventually giving up. Unbenownst to her, though, she actually did turn it on, so the following is a mixture of voice (normal text) and written (italics).]

[sigh] This isn't working. Shirley will know. I'll ask her later. Now where did I...?

[A few moments later, printed words appear. They look pretty unpracticed, being both slow and somewhat messy. Strikes are basically scribbled out, but since she didn't put much effort in people can probably read them with a little effort.] ~~Is there someone named~~ ~~Can I talk to~~ Charlotte, I have something for you.

...Did that work? Hmm. ...Oh, yeah.

~~I also have~~ If someone lost a ~~hat~~ [There is a pause, with a couple of inkdrops falling on the page.]

[After a moment, she picks up Seles's hat and turns it around in her hands.] What should I call it? I can't say it looks like a pancake....

[Too late she's gone off to cook some pasta! So no answer for now. Dun dun dun...]

[She actually does wait for an answer for a bit, but then she realizes what probably happened.] Oh, for the love of...! [She drops the borrowed clothing into a bag and scurries away. Her voice fades as she gets farther from the journal.] Shirley, I'm going to....

[She'll hustle along, since if this girl is really going to cook her pasta for returning something practically stolen from her then Fenimore might as well be prompt, but it will still take her a while to get to the community housing building 4 and bustle up the stairs. When she gets to the fourth floor, she's going to start walking slowly down the hall, trying to find something that would remind her which

[Lalala, makin' some pasta. The community building have gang-kitchens, so obvious Charle is in here, oblivious to Fenimore's search for her door. Maybe even humming a bit...

...As she drops a few things here and there. She's new to this, okay?]

[It might take Fenimore a while, but eventually the smell of cooking will draw her towards the kitchen door. ...Well, probably more the sounds, at first, but the smell is what makes her think that might be where Charlotte is.

So she cautiously peeks inside the door. She mightn't know what Charlotte looks like, since she's not really used to the video portion of the journals, but those boobs look about right for fitting in those dresses.]

...Charlotte?

Albeit obviously making pasta, not eggs. And yes, her boobs are that big I do not joke :|]

[...boy, it's a good thing it's Fenimore and not, like, Norma or Shirley meeting Charlotte. Because Fenimore is currently feeling rather small ~~even if her reaction should just be "what the crap, this girl is inferines"~~. Is she really dressed like in the picture?]

Uh, yeah. Here. [She holds out the bag with the (recently washed) clothes, but then she realizes that Charlotte's hands are a bit full.] ...Where do you want me to put it?

[Yes. She is really dressed like that. That was the dress she was wearing today and she put an apron on over it. Yes, she is absurd. But either was as she stirs the pasta...] Well, could you hold it until I finish? Then was can go eat in my room.

[Even with Fenimore's complete lack of understanding of Orerines fashions, that seems a little...overdressed for pasta. Still, she lowers the arm holding the bag and shuffles her feet a bit.] I already told you that you don't need to do this....

But it's lunch time and you're coming over like this. [Stir...] And I wanted to practice.

[half-mubled:] You could have just cooked for yourself.

[She sighs, and continues in a more normal tone:] Well, if you insist, sure.

So what's your name? [...Lol she didn't ask did she. If she did, she didn't remember.]

[She didn't, and Fenimore didn't even notice.]

Oh, uh. My name is Fenimore. It's...nice to meet you.

And I'm Charlotte. Charlotte Hazelrink.

[Stir the pasta... is this done yet? She's not sure, darn] It's nice to meet you too!

[Fenimore has no idea what this "pasta" thing you are cooking, so she has no clue, either. She nods and rocks back and forth on her feet once each. She feels she should try to make conversation.] So, uh, is Adell a friend of yours?

Oh, yes. He's a good friend of mine.

[...Okay let's just put this in the strainer. She's not sure if it's right or not, but close enough]

[And Fenimore's going to go on her tiptoes and lean forward, trying to catch sight of what these strange things Charlotte is cooking without actually moving closer. ~~I don't even know if there would have been strainers in her village, really.~~]

[Uh uh strainer. And now she's going to put that in a bowl and...

Then she realizes she doesn't have a sauce. Damn]

[She looks at it curiously. So this is pasta....

Well, Fenimore doesn't know the difference, but she does notice Charlotte's hesitation ~~(or whatever you'd call that expression?)~~] ...Is there something wrong?

[...A frown] I forgot the sauce...

[And then she whines a little; like this]

Oh. ...Is there anywhere nearby that has sauce you could borrow? I mean, if you put it on now, it might still work.

But I don't know how to make it... [Thinking, thinking... thinking...]

Is it okay without sauce, or do you need it? [Though as she says this she looks around the kitchen, trying to figure out where likely sauce ingredients might be. She's still standing in place, though, as she's not comfortable enough to just start rummaging through cupboards.]

No, it's pretty good but I guess it's okay... [...That's in a whiny voice though. :C]

[sigh] You don't have to whine about it. At least look for it before you start complaining.
