[So, Fenimore has been hermiting away in House 34 for the past few days. She really isn't liking where the village was going. Okay, so there are spiders and rats (bats are okay, assuming they didn't learn about the myth of flying into people's hair). Okay, so there are ghosts everywhere (even if she'd so far been safe from pranks, since Grune was a very good source of the candy they demanded). But mostly.........it's foggy.
It sounds silly to say, but that's the part that spooks her the most. A couple of years ago, things went pretty bad when it got misty, so she's feeling extremely jumpy. Of course, holing up in House 34 really hadn't worked for her at that time, even with Shirley around to help, and she'd rather abandon ship completely, but right now, she's the only one left to look after Sophie. And Grune. Maybe the latter even more so. So she's going to have to suck it up.
But then Grune's unstoppable thirst for baking has started to empty the fridge and Grune's attempts at shopping were often...less than successful. If it was just her, she'd honestly prefer to go hungry than venture out into the foggy village, but Sophie is a little kid and shouldn't be made to go without. So, it is time to gird her loins and....
...ask the village for advice.]
[Voice]
Hey. [She sounds rather subdued compared to her normal.] Has anyone...seen anything strange around? I mean -- not the ghosts or anything. Well, maybe the ghosts. Are they really just asking for candy? [She's not really sure whether she'd have to worry about them if she goes out during the day, but she hasn't exactly investigated about them, either.]
But...what I meant was...seeing things that aren't there, or...hearing things in the mist. That sort of thing. It's just...it's not usually this quiet around this time of year. [You know. Draft aside. But she hasn't heard much about that yet.] I wasn't sure if it was really safe to go out right now.
[Okay, that should do it. Although....] ...Thanks, I guess.
[Okay, now done.]
[Action]
[Late in the afternoon of the 30th, she'll have finallyrun out of milk worked up the nerve to go out, so she can be found trying to make her way to the grocery store. It's not always a smooth journey, though. Aside from the rats and spiders on both ways, it starts to get dark before she manages to get all the way back -- such is what happens when you put things off too long -- and ghostly activity picks up. Now that she's not in the house that gives away so many treats, she is a fine target for pranks. Pranks which include (but are not limited to) invisibibly picking her up by her grocery bag until her feet start to leave the ground, kicking wildly. Ghosts, man. Bad business.]

Get outta here, ya weirdo ghosts!
[Action]
...Though a part of her that is less startled is going "really, confetti? really?"]
[Action]
I think they're gonna haunt that tree.
[Action]
Is that...normally what ghosts do? [Maybe he was some kind of ghost expert.]

voice; i guess ange was the closest to a natsuno substitute i could give you..
But you're saying you really saw something in there? Wasn't it just paranoia?
voice; alas i won't be able to seduce this one... (but that is probably true)
Wait, that's not the important part. ] Actually...I haven't gone outside since it started getting foggy like this. But it got a bit like this a couple of years ago around this time and...well, I wasn't the only one to see things then.
wow, maybe she'll decide fenimore is the new love of her life!!
Well, it's no use trying to think about these things before anyone actually sees something. It feels too much like causing useless panic.
so I still have a chance!!
WORK HARD.

Action - Finally! XD
Spock did not give much thought to the...themed ambiance and found it quite interesting to observe the reactions that the residents had towards such paranormal activity. Mischief seemed to be a common factor... however, there were those who appear genuinely scared.
What did attract Spock's attention was a woman...suspended in the air..Fascinating...]
[He approaches....]
Greetings, I am Spock. You appear to be showing signs of distress... may I offer my assistance? [He had to ask... perhaps this was something she was doing on purpose...]
Action - so. IT HAS COME TO THIS. (excellent)
Of course I'm -- ! Just get me down from here!
Re: Action - Agreed! This gives me all sorts of wibbles! XD
Spock continues to observe the situation with a raised eyebrow...and holds his arms out..]
Might I suggest that you let go of your 'shopping bag'...?
Action - \o/
Re: Action - *sigh* forgive my spelling mistakes... I probably should not do this when I'm tired. XD
Action - It happens to the best of us. I used to abuse spellcheck, but then I got lazy.
Action - SPOCK MAKES NO MISTAKES! XD
Action - glad that I play someone who does.

Action - I always forget when doing walking threads that they eventually reach their destination XD;
All good things must come to an end unfortunately~ but that was a blast~ ^_^
[Action]
...Including those hauntings, actually. When she spots Fenimore getting a lift, shall we say, from the ghosts, she giggles.]
Oh, my, that looks like so much fun! I want to play, too!
[Action]
Does it look like I'm playing?
[She should know better than to ask Grune this, but she's not exactly in a rational frame of mind right now.]
[Action]
Oh, yes. Can I try next?
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
[Action] except her expression is more like shirley's here
[Action] The ghost is Fenimore. :|b
[Action] I forgot what I had written so this confused me in my inbox. But yes.
[Action] ...And then I got confused reading what I'd written, too. Context, man
[Action] A lesson against leaving tags too late.
[Action] ...Learned as I respond five days later....
[Action] Five days? Psh. Child's play!!
[Action] XD Oh right, look who I'm talking to.
[Action] GET OUTTA HERE ELLE (I'm kidding)
[Action] Giving Grune tribbles would be a baaaaaaaaaad idea....
[Action] Luceti would be crushed.
[Action] Maybe we can give them to the Third Party instead.
[Action] It's the only logical solution.
[Action] This is the way the world ends: Not with a bang but a lot of cooing and squeaking
[Action] There are worse ways to go.
[Action] Probably most of the people in Luceti have already encountered them.
[Action] ...Sadly true.
[Action] Luceti: We Know Apocalypses
[Action] Though the riders of the apocalypse have to deal with 50% power.
[Action] Would that be an advantage for us or them?
[Action] I guess it would be an advantage for whoever was weaker.
[Action] So that would be most of the residents, then.
[Action] ...Probably, come to think of it.
[Action]
[She yells as she comes rolling in - literally. A couple ghosts decided to mess around with Shiemi, and put her on roller skates. So while a ghost is pranking Fenimore, a high speed Shiemi comes head on toward the other blonde.]
[Action]
Wow, thinks a somewhat detached part of her brain that knows nothing of roller skates, I wonder how she's moving like that? But, on the outside, she is waving her one free arm and yelling:] I -- I can't move! Don't come any -- !
[And the ghost that has been holding her up is no longer invisible as the spectre lets go of the grocery bag with precise timing so that Fenimore won't even have time to hit the ground again before the collision.]
[Action]
Fe-Fenimore?
